I stayed at a hotel near the West Lake, and overall it was a great experience. The facilities were very clean, and I appreciated the complimentary amenities, bottled water, and snacks. I’ve never stayed in a hotel this clean for such a reasonable price — it was truly impressive.
That said, the soundproofing was a bit weak, so I could hear noises from the neighboring room. It didn’t bother me too much, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it’s something to keep in mind.
The hotel is within walking distance to West Lake, which is convenient. However, if you’re planning to explore the city center or visit other tourist attractions, be prepared for heavy traffic. In that case, I’d recommend staying closer to downtown.
There was a scheduling mix-up during our stay, and we had to check out early. When we returned, there were no rooms available, but the manager quickly arranged a room for us at another hotel in the city center. Although it was a bit confusing at first, the staff handled the situation kindly and efficiently, and we were able to enjoy our last night without any issues. I was really touched by their service and would definitely stay at this hotel again. 🙂”
