OYO 1119 헤베아 호텔 앤 리조트는 제가 앙헬레스 / 클락 여행 시에 자주 찾는 호텔인데요.
처음 앙헬레스 / 클락을 간다면 중심지 근처에 숙소 잡는 게 좋아요.
실제 이용 투숙객들의 평가가 10점 만점에 무려 8.1점인 호텔이고, 부대시설과 접근성이 뛰어나 재방문율이 높은 호텔 중 하나에요 🙂

1. Check-in delayed for over 12 hours
I was greeted by two staff members — I think their names were ***.
I had clearly written in my reservation request that I would check in at 2 a.m. and needed a room with a bathtub, as described.
However, when I arrived at 3 a.m., my room was still not ready — even though it had been more than 12 hours since the official check-in time of 2 p.m.
*** offered me a downgraded room and, while waiting for my answer, she was laughing and chatting with other staff.
I was honestly shocked by the unprofessional attitude.
Agoda informed me there would be a 170-peso cleaning fee, so I gave the full amount to ***. She never returned the 30-peso change.
When I finally entered the room an hour later, there was no bathtub. *** simply handed me the key and continued laughing.
Only *** sincerely apologized and offered a different room with a bathtub.
Day 2 – A Good Housekeeping Experience
I requested cleaning and left a tip. The housekeeper who cleaned my room responded with a note that said “Welcome” and a smiley face.
That made me feel much better.
Day 3 – A Shocking Housekeeping Request
As I was heading out, I saw the room next to mine being cleaned. I gave the housekeeper a 100-peso tip and asked if they could clean my room.
However, when I returned to grab something from my room, the same housekeeper told me the room was too large and they were working alone, so I should give 200 pesos instead.
Is this acceptable?
Day 4 – Staff Showing Lack of Responsibility
I requested cleaning at noon and told the staff I would return in an hour.
When I came back, the room was not cleaned.
Also, my key didn’t work — *** had made me a 3-day key instead of 4 days.
I requested cleaning again at 4 p.m., but when I returned at 7 p.m., it still hadn’t been cleaned.
Why are guests being charged a cleaning fee when cleaning is not even done?
Check-out – Dishonest Behavior
*** , the same person who was joking around during the check-in mess, was also the one handling my check-out.
I asked for an early check-out at around 11:50 p.m.
She said they needed to check the room.
Then they tried to charge me for a Coke Zero, which the hotel doesn’t even provide.
When I questioned it, they said it must have been one I brought myself.
Then they called the room and asked if I had eaten the pineapple.
That’s when I realized: no matter what, they just want to charge you something.
If I go back and demand to check, they can simply open a can and say it’s mine.
It was late at night and I needed to get to the airport, so I just paid the 80 pesos and left.
(If you read Agoda reviews, you’ll see that many guests have reported being charged for items they never consumed.)
Before I left, I asked ***, “Why didn’t you give me the 30 pesos change at check-in?”
She immediately handed it to me — which means she knew she hadn’t returned it. (-:
I also asked her, “Why wasn’t my room cleaned today?”
She simply said, “I don’t know.”
The root of all these issues is the General Manager of Hevea.
It seems like he has no idea what his job is.
Who is supposed to train the staff who are incompetent, rude, and unprofessional?
Many of the Hevea staff I met were hardworking, kind, and passionate.
But a few others clearly lack ethics and professionalism.
It’s the General Manager’s responsibility to manage them.
Because of a few bad employees, many guests are suffering.
There is clearly no staff training, no service manual, no standard.
This hotel has potential, but the General Manager is ruining it.
And he seems completely unaware of what’s wrong.
I don’t usually write reviews.
But I wrote this with the hope that your hotel will improve.”
